Bonnyton Juniors Crowned Fleming Watson League Champions

Bonnyton Golf Club is delighted to celebrate a huge milestone in the journey of our growing Junior Section, as our junior team were crowned Fleming Watson League Champions.

In our first year competing in the event, the Bonnyton Juniors produced a superb campaign, taking on strong junior teams from across the Glasgow Southside golf scene and coming out on top after 9 weeks of competitive golf.

The team, ranging in age from 12 to 17 years old, showed outstanding commitment, ability and team spirit throughout the league.

Every player contributed important points during the campaign, making this a true team success and a fantastic moment for everyone involved with junior golf at the club.

This achievement is particularly special given how far the Junior Section has come in a relatively short period of time. Bonnyton Golf Club has worked hard to build a positive, welcoming and competitive environment for young golfers, and this league victory is a proud reflection of that progress.

A special mention must go to Junior Captain Marcus Wynne, who led the team superbly throughout the competition. His leadership, attitude and example helped drive the team forward during an excellent league campaign.

The club would also like to thank everyone who has supported the Junior Section, including parents, volunteers, coaches and members who continue to encourage the development of junior golf at Bonnyton.

A huge thank you also goes to Rouken Glen Vets for their fantastic sponsorship and support of the Bonnyton Juniors. The team outfits looked excellent and the players represented the club with great pride.

This is a brilliant achievement for the players, the Junior Section and Bonnyton Golf Club as a whole.
