Charles Schwab Challenge: On a sombre day at Colonial, Davis Riley wins his first solo PGA Tour championship.

With Scottie Scheffler and Keegan Bradley tied for second, Davis Riley finished five strokes ahead of the field. Riley's victory was overshadowed by the PGA Tour's grief over Grayson Murray, two time PGA winner who took his own life at the age of 30.

In the Charles Schwab Challenge, Davis Riley easily won his first solo PGA Tour victory as Scottie Scheffler was unable to muster a strong finish.

Riley, who shared the 2017 Zurich Classic victory with Nick Hardy, led by four strokes going into the last round at Colonial and finished 14 under par, five shots ahead of Scheffler and Keegan Bradley. Riley scored a final-round 70 to clinch the victory.

At the start of the day, Scheffler was four strokes behind the lead held by Riley, 27, but Riley's advantage grew to six shots in the last round as the 27-year-old made birdies on all of his four bogeys. Riley finished the front nine at level par.
