Tiger Woods makes a comeback: his performance at the Hero World Challenge and his aspirations for the PGA Tour in 2024

How did Tiger Woods perform during his competitive return? Where will he play next, and what may his schedule be like in 2024? Significant questions lay following his most recent comeback to competition at the Hero World Challenge; watch him live on Sky Sports Golf from December 16–17 at the PNC Championship.

Tiger Woods, who made an encouraging comeback to competitive play at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, has set his sights on an ambitious programme for 2024.

Making his first start since pulling out of The Masters in April, Woods ended the week at Albany at level par, enough for 18th place in the field of 20 players.

Although Scottie Scheffler, the world No. 1 player and event champion, defeated Sepp Straka by three shots, Woods, 47, still had a lot of positives to take away from his performance.

"I think I've come a long way," Woods said after his final round. "From being a little bit rusty to playing four days and knocked off a lot of rust which was great, and just the physicality of actually playing and competing again - I haven't done this in a while.
"It was nice to get out here with the guys, have some fun and compete. I wish I would have played a little cleaner but there's always next time."
