Gooch claims LIV Adelaide title

Talor Gooch overcame a mid-round slump to win the LIV Golf Adelaide championship at The Grand Golf Club on Sunday. He defeated Anirban Lahiri by three shots and collected the $4 million first-place prize.

The tournament was the Saudi Arabia-backed tour's debut in Australia. Gooch entered the third and final round of the event with a 10-shot lead against previous Masters winner Charl Schwartzel.
