DP World Tour: Thorbjorn Olesen

At the Ras al Khaimah Championship, Thorbjorn Olesen captured his eighth DP World Tour title. Rory McIlroy will return to play on the PGA Tour this Thursday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Thorbjorn Olesen easily defeated Rasmus Hojgaard by six shots to earn his sixth DP World Tour title.

After all of his opponents stumbled, the 2018 Ryder Cup hero eagled the eighth hole and finished with a back nine of 33 to sign for a 67 and a 27-under-par total. He had a four-shot lead going into the fourth round. His closest rival, fellow countryman Hojgaard, shot 69 to finish one shot ahead of Frenchman Frederic Lacroix.
