What a week it’s been at Bonnyton! Our 2025 Club Championship and Aaron Winston Plate concluded in thrilling fashion on Saturday, marking the end of an unforgettable week full of top-tier golf, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
Congratulations to our 2025 Champions:
- 🥇 Grant Beaton – Club Champion
Grant delivered a composed and commanding performance across both rounds of the final. His victory crowns a phenomenal season in which he:- Won the Winestone Cup
- Was named Brand Putter Player of the Year
- Set (and then equalled) a new black tee course record of 66
An exceptional run of form from a player at the top of his game! -
- 🥇 Paul J Friel – Aaron Winston Plate Winner
Paul battled through a strong field to clinch the Plate with a confident and composed final performance. A well-earned victory!
Commiserations to Willie Macmillan and Stewart Allan, both of whom played outstanding golf and helped shape two great finals.
👏 Notable Highlights:
One of the moments of the week came from 12-year-old Harris Copeland, who reached the quarterfinals of the Gents Club Championship. His skill, maturity, and determination captured the hearts of everyone watching and signalled a bright future ahead for our Junior Section.
