Cameron Smith wins the Tournament of Champions by shooting a PGA record 34-under par.
Cameron Smith finished at 34-under 258, a new PGA Tour record for strokes under par; John Rahm shot 33-under and Matt Jones shot 32-under at Kapalua; Smith's victory marks his fourth PGA Tour victory.
Smith was relentless all day, right down to the 3-foot birdie putt he hit on the 18th hole to finish with an 8-under 65 and a one-shot win on Sunday.
"Unreal round," Smith said. "Something I'll never forget. Being a leader is not easy, with restless sleeps. I feel like I spent a lot of time looking at the ceiling. But, it was nice to see where my game is at against some of the best players in the world. I've been working hard, and it's paid off early in the season."
