Bonnyton Golf Club welcomes Members in a range of categories depending on the Member's age and playing commitment.
The most common Membership categories are:
Full | Associate | Junior | Youth | Country | Social
and the qualification requirements and benefits of each category are outlined below.
We currently have vacancies in a number of Membership categories - see CATEGORY
STATUS below. Anyone interested in becoming a Member should refer to the APPLICATION
PROCESS information on the right before completing an application form which

CATEGORY | Full Member
Full Membership is open to golfers aged 25 years and over. Members in this
category have full, unrestricted access to the Course and Clubhouse at
Bonnyton
Features of Full Membership
- Unrestricted access to the Course
- Full use of all Clubhouse facilities
- Establish an official SGU handicap
- Entry to a range of organised competitions
- Introduce 6 playing guests free-of-charge per year
- Sign-in facility for up to 3 guests at a time
- Reciprocal playing privileges at a range of local courses
- Access to Clubhouse facilities for private functions
FULL MEMBER CATEGORY STATUS:

CATEGORY | Associate Member
Associate Membership is open to golfers aged 25 years and over. Members
in this category have full access to the Clubhouse
but enjoy restricted playing times
Features of Associate Membership
- Restricted access to the Course - see right for permitted playing times
- Full use of all Clubhouse facilities
- Establish an official SGU handicap
- Entry to a range of organised competitions
- Introduce 4 playing guests free-of-charge per year
- Sign-in facility for up to 3 guests at a time
- Reciprocal playing privileges at a range of local courses
- Access to Clubhouse facilities for private functions
ASSOCIATE MEMBER CATEGORY STATUS:

Young golfers may join as a Junior from the age of 13 years (11 years
if a parent is already a Member) and may play at specific times
Features of Junior Membership
- Restricted access to the Course - see right for permitted playing times
- Use of upstairs lounge in Clubhouse
- Establish an official SGU handicap
- Entry to a range of organised Junior competitions
- Juniors must transfer to Youth category at 18 years of age
JUNIOR MEMBER CATEGORY STATUS:

Youth Membership is available to golfers aged between 18 and 25 years
Features of Youth Membership
- As Junior Membership above
- Must transfer to Senior Membership at 25 years of age
YOUTH MEMBER CATEGORY STATUS:

Country Membership is open to golfers whose principal home residence
is at least 100 miles from Bonnyton
Features of Country Membership
- Access to the Course for 12 rounds of golf per year
- Full use of all Clubhouse facilities
- Entry to Medal competitions (not eligible to win)
- Establish an official SGU handicap
- Sign-in facility for up to 3 guests at a time
COUNTRY MEMBER CATEGORY STATUS:
