MOBILE TELEPHONES

The use of mobile phones is restricted to making and receiving calls in the locker rooms and car park.

Mobile phones must be switched off in all other areas of the Clubhouse and on the Course except in emergencies.




OTHER INFORMATION

The consumption of alcohol on the Course is strictly prohibited.

No gambling is permitted on the Course or in the Clubhouse.

Whilst on the Course, paper, cans, bottles and other litter must be placed in the bins provided.

Code of Conduct


The following guidelines are intended to provide Members and non-members with a common-sense approach to conducting themselves while using Club facilities.

For the vast majority of of Members and visitors, these rules cause no problems - they are simply good manners applied to a golf club.



ON THE COURSE

  • Play should be continuous and without delay
  • Do not play until the match in front is out of range
  • Players searching for a ball should signal the game behind to play through as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not be easily found
  • Before leaving a bunker, players should carefully fill up all holes
  • All divots must be carefully replaced and any damage to the putting green made by a ball or the player should be carefully repaired
  • When play at a hole is complete, players should immediately leave the green
  • A single player has no standing on the course
  • Players playing a whole round are entitled to pass players playing a shorter round
  • If a match fails to keep its place on the Course and loses more than one clear hole on the game in front, it should allow the match following to play through
  • As a courtesy, competition games should be allowed to play through
  • No starting allowed at the 10th. hole unless the 8th. and 9th. holes are free of players
  • Veterans may tee-off on the 10th. up to 8.30pm on competition Sundays


IN THE CLUBHOUSE

  • Visitors must be signed in by a Member who is then responsible for the visitor's conduct
  • It is not permitted to change clothing or footwear in the car parks
  • Golf equipment must not be taken through the front door of the Clubhouse
  • Members may not reprimand any employee of the Club. All complaints should be made in writing to the Secretary or the relevant Convener
